Through a Table, you can experience the “glory for oneness” that Jesus gave us as we pursue understanding and justice in His way. As a table host, you’ll work toward sustainable change through truth and reconciliation with others in your community. We’ll help you learn, structure, and build a Table of your own; creating an environment for respectful, honoring, and productive conversations.
Why Tables?
Jesus’ final act on Earth with His disciples was breaking bread around a table. Through our Tables, we’re following His command to do this as often as possible. This simple but powerful sacrament, reminds us of His work on the cross which disarmed the powers that separate us and created a global multi-ethnic family — even among our enemies.
How Tables Work
As a Table Host, the steps are simple; you’ll find some folks to meet with, you can determine the time and place (or frequency of meeting), and we’ll set you up with prepared questions and tips to help you facilitate healthy and respectful discussion.
